Troubleshooting
If you see an error related to reCAPTCHA when using a form on your Frame site, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
1. Check Your Google reCAPTCHA Keys
In the Gravity Forms settings for reCAPTCHA, confirm your site keys are set correctly. They should display a green checkmark if working.
If there is an error, log in to your Google reCAPTCHA admin console. Make sure you are using the correct site key and secret key for your website. The version (v2, v3, etc.) should match what your site or plugin expects. We recommend using v3.
2. Verify Domain Allow List
In the Google reCAPTCHA admin console, confirm that your website's domain (e.g., yourchurch.org) is listed in the allowed domains. If not, add it and save changes.
3. Review Error Messages
If a specific error message appears (such as 'ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key'), use it to guide your troubleshooting. Search the Google reCAPTCHA help pages for details.
4. Check Form-Specific Settings
If you're experiencing issues with a specific form, check the forms settings specific to reCAPTCHA. Ensure reCAPTCHA is enabled for the specific form if using v3. Inside the form, remove any reCAPTCHA field. This element is unnecessary and should be deleted to avoid conflicts.
5. Contact Support for Additional Help
If you have checked your keys, domain, and form, contact Adventist Connect support and include details of the error message and what you have tried.
