Add Shadows to Blocks

Apply shadow effects to enhance elements on your page.

Today we're going to talk about adding shadows to blocks on your page. This is a handy tool for emphasis or depth, allowing you to highlight something.

Step 1: Open Edit Page

First, we'll be on our edit page.

Step 2: Select the Box

Click the box that you want to add the shadow to. You will see the blue line appear and your settings menu will open.

Step 3: Access Settings

This is your settings menu. Choose your block option, then select your styles option.

Step 4: Locate Shadow Options

Scroll down to see padding and margins block space, then look for border and shadow.

Step 5: Click Shadow

The border and the radius are already there. Click on the three dots and then click shadow. You will see the drop down shadow window.

Step 6: Choose Shadow Type

Here are your options: natural deep, hard line shadow, black line shadow, and full line shadow. Choose the one you need.

Step 7: Apply Shadow to Button

To add shadow to your button, click your button menu and follow the same steps. Highlight your border and shadow.

Step 8: Add Shadow to Images

For images, click your image block, choose block styles, then border and shadow.

Step 9: Finish with Shadows

Add shadow and return to your natural shadow option. This is how you can add depth and highlight something using the shadow option within the frame.
