In this video, we're going to talk about how to hide pages in your menu so that visitors to your site will not see that page. You can do this for special events or if you're working on a page and you don't want anyone to see it until you've done that, it's easily to do. Let's look at the steps:

Step 1: Go to Dashboard

Log into your site. Go to your dashboard and select Pages, then All Pages.

How to Reverse Hide in Nav Menu

To have a page appear back into the menu simply follow the the steps above and uncheck "Hide in Nav Menu" and click Update. To have the "Welcome" page or front page appear in the Nav Menu follow these steps as well. This will give your visitors an alternative option to go back to the page.

Want to add your Welcome (front) page to the Nav Menu?

By default, visitors can return to your front page by clicking the logo in the upper-left corner of the website — and we recommend keeping it that way. But if you'd like to add it as a Nav Menu item too, Frame supports that. Just follow the steps above.

Takeaways

  • To hide a page from navigation you find that by utilizing the "Quick Edit" on the right hand side for each page listed under Dashboard > Pages > All Pages

  • This feature does not delete the page in anyway and you are free to make changes without public view.

  • You Welcome page or Home page can be added to the Nav Menu. By default this is hidden and visitors to the website, just have to click the organization's logo on the upper left hand side to return to that page.
