Edit Donate/Giving Button

Change the Donate/Giving button's link, label, and icon. For most, this will default to AdventistGiving.

The Call to Action button is preset to send users to AdventistGiving for your organization. However, you can alter this button to point to another site.

The AdventistGiving button automatically points users to adventistgiving.org or adventistgiving.ca depending on where your organization is based according to its Org ID.

TL;DR

Access settings
Go to dashboard > Settings > Navigation.

Update button link
Unlink and enter a new label and URL.

Select button icon
Choose your preferred icon style.

Disable button
Unlink, delete label and URL to turn off.

Save changes
Click Save to confirm your updates.

Let's Do It Together!

Step 1: Access Navigation Settings

  1. Go to your dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings and select Navigation.

Step 2: Change the Button Link

  1. Unlink the override label for the call to action button.

  2. Type your desired label, e.g., donate.

  3. Add the URL you want the button to link to.

Step 3: Change the Button Icon

  1. Choose a new icon for the button.

  2. Select from options like heart, dots, or circle.

Step 4: Disable the Donate Button

  1. To turn off the button, uncheck Link to AdventistGiving.

  2. Delete/clear the value in the URL field.

  3. You can keep the Icon and Override Label or remove it, it doesn't matter.

  1. Click Save to apply your changes.

Your changes to the call to action button are now saved.

Troubleshooting

Button does not link correctly
Ensure the URL is entered properly and saved. Clear your site cache to ensure changes display.
Icon not changing
Make sure to select a new icon and save changes. Clear your site cache to ensure changes display.
