Select Settings → Privacy from your WordPress dashboard menu.
Click Create to generate a new Privacy Policy page. Or, select an existing page from the dropdown menu and click Use This Page.
If you create a new page, WordPress will open a page titled "Privacy Policy." Customize this content to reflect your site's practices, then click Publish.
Hint: For guidance on what to include in your privacy policy, click the "Check out our guide" link for helpful recommendations.
Your Privacy Policy page automatically appears on your site's login and registration pages. Visitors will see a "Privacy Policy" link at the bottom of these pages, allowing them to review your data practices before creating an account or logging in.
While WordPress automatically displays your Privacy Policy link on login and registration pages, you'll need to manually add links to this page throughout the rest of your site. Some themes, like Twenty Seventeen, automatically add a Privacy Policy link in the footer area, but this varies by theme. Consider adding links in your site's footer menu or other appropriate locations to ensure visitors can easily access this important information.
